She Was Never Coming Back
Her life at school was over; she was never coming back. They’d called Jonah a bug and he never went back. She’d been called “disfigured to match er soul,” and she wasn’t ever coming back either.
There it was, more of the rejection and loneliness she’d felt all week.
She never resisted him…….and never joined him.
